Two weeks from today (April 10th) is the spring seminar for the Metro Maryland chapter of ARMA and it definitely sounds like it will be an exciting event. The event is entitled, “Blogs, Wikis, and Big Data – Oh My! – Redefining RIM from Education to Implementation.” This will be a full day of presentations, discussions and networking on electronic records, archives and digital preservation and the ways in which mobile, cloud and social media are driving these changes.
This is a full day event that will feature speakers with a wide array of experience who specialize in areas such as social media records management, federal electronic records management, cloud computing and so much more.
Registration is only $50 for ARMA members, $60 for nonmembers and $20 for students. This hard to beat price includes lunch, handouts and refreshments. The event is located at University of MD, Shady Grove Campus.
I will be attending as “Blogger-in-Residence” and providing live blogging and tweeting of every session. You can follow the event at my blog as well as on twitter with the hashtag #MetroMDSeminar
